Latest pics of Hanoi Can anyone name the fruit? (not tomatoes)
Well I bought some of those fruit and they are astringent and sour.. with a hard centre. A little plum-like but definitely not plums.
I did a search on Google images for Persimmon and came up with this fruit...
So I don't think they are Persimmon (sorry Simone!)
So someone out there must know what the fruit below are...
This on the other hand is a dragonfruit...

I think the fruit is called persimmon. I first discovered and snapped pics of this fruit in Vietnam...have you tried it? It is really, really sweet, sumptuously delicious!
Thanks, Sim! I knew I could rely on a fellow blogger/teacher to know the answer.
I haven't tried them because I didn't know what they were, but I will give 'em a go now...
So how did they taste ??
Astringent and sour.. with a hard centre They suck the moisture right out of your mouth.. Can't say I'm a big fan tho...
